Requirements
  • Possess an active or reinstatable TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Have twenty years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or four additional years of comparable Software Engineer experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Have five years of experience with user-centered design, UI best practices, usability testing, and the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML to support UI design, troubleshoot design-related issues, and collaborate with development teams.
  • Work closely with users to research, develop, and document user profiles and user performance requirements.
  • Conduct task analysis and workflow mapping and develop and test user scenarios.
  • Develop UI design specifications and support documentation, including wireframes, mockups, interaction behaviors, and design guidelines, as needed to support development efforts.
  • Collaborate with product designers and process engineers to inform application design and ensure user-centered solutions align with workflows and requirements.
  • Conduct accessibility and Section 508 compliance testing to ensure user interfaces meet regulatory and usability standards.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback through surveys and behavioral data to guide design improvements and UX decisions.
  • Work independently while collaborating with small teams and larger cross-functional groups.
  • Create interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and communicate interactions to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Have UI/UX experience.
  • Have Section 508 compliance experience.
  • Have strong communication skills.
