Requirements
- Completion of a basic training program approved by Transport Canada and at least 18 months of credit toward obtaining a Category M Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license.
- Ability to obtain a Controlled Goods authorization and a Restricted Area Identity Card allowing access to the airport airside areas.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Residence in Halifax or willingness to relocate there.
- Ability to work in an organized and self-directed manner and demonstrate initiative.
- Customer-service orientation and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and performing aircraft maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Organize and maintain the hangar and support equipment.
- Perform related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience.
- Helicopter maintenance experience is preferred.
