About the job
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have an outgoing, positive demeanor and strong teamwork skills.
- Have customer service knowledge and communication skills.
- Be able to perform simple math, including percentages.
- Be able to work weekends and some holiday shifts.
- Be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Demonstrate Miller's Customer First standards consistently.
- Perform point-of-sale transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns and lead selling and service efforts during scheduled shifts.
- Assist in meeting store goals by ensuring appropriate floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus.
- Keep the register area clean, neat, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Restock returned merchandise in the correct sales-floor location; label damaged and defective merchandise and place it in the appropriate area at the end of each shift.
- Be familiar with Loss Prevention policies and advise management of unusual internal or external activity.
- Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge, helping complete tasks, and assisting with customer interactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Western experience or a Western lifestyle is a plus.
