Ardian has arranged new unitranche financing for Arche MC2, a leading French social care software publisher, as part of a shareholding reorganisation. Montefiore Investment and Activa will jointly control the Aix-en-Provence-based group, with the management team making significant reinvestments alongside the new shareholders. The financing package includes an acquisition facility to support Arche MC2's buy-and-build strategy. Since Ardian's initial financing in July 2024, the group has pursued growth through organic performance and targeted acquisitions. Arche MC2 offers mission-critical digitisation solutions to both public and private-sector customers across France's social care sector. Ardian, which manages or advises $200 billion globally, operates across private equity, real assets, and credit, with over 20 years of experience in private credit.

Bridgepoint agrees majority acquisition of GBA Group in deal valued at more than €1bn. * July 16, 2026 * - 9:10 am Bridgepoint has agreed to acquire a majority stake in German laboratory testing specialist GBA Group from private equity firm Ardian in a transaction valuing the business at more than €1bn, according to a report by Reuters citing an unnamed person familiar with the deal. The acquisition marks another significant investment by Bridgepoint in the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) sector, an area that has continued to attract private equity capital as regulatory requirements tighten and demand grows for independent testing and product verification services. Headquartered in Germany, GBA Group operates around 100 laboratories and facilities across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region. The company serves more than 60,000 customers across sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices and cosmetics. The deal builds on Bridgepoint's long-standing investment strategy in the TIC market. The firm has previously backed businesses including Element Materials Technology, LGC, Fera Science and NMi. Financial terms of the transaction have not been officially disclosed.
