- Understand quality procedures on project sites and determine the resources necessary to ensure accurate documentation, procedures, and testing of required contract items.
- Review internal and external audit documentation and reporting to support project-site quality activities and compliance.
- Develop and manage quality trend forecasting and impact assessments, making recommendations for continual organizational improvement related to quality.
- Develop subject matter experts to assist with company non-conformance reports and resolutions.
- Facilitate ISO certification and develop system verifications on completed systems to assure continual improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of company values, strategic plan, market trends, and published corporate policies.
- Lead the management of non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and resolution processes across project sites.
- Hold a bachelor's degree and Professional Engineer/Professional Engineer designation.
- Have subject-matter expertise in testing, inspection requirements, and construction procedures.
- Have the ability to lead, coach, mentor, and manage multiple teams across the company.
- Be able to develop and lead corporate procedure compliance, implementation, and policy development.
- Have strong organizational and communication skills.
- Be willing and able to learn and grow in technical specifications, industry testing, and contract requirements.
- Determine quality resources and support proposal efforts related to quality by identifying risks in project proposal requirements.
- Provide summary reporting to district and division leadership, and document, analyze, and report performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and manage quality trend forecasting and impact assessments.
- Develop subject-matter experts to support non-conformance reporting and resolution.
- Facilitate ISO certification and verify completed systems.
- Lead non-conformance reports, corrective actions, and resolution processes to support continual improvement across project sites.
- 15+ years of quality and construction-industry-related experience.
- ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification.
- NICET Civil Engineering Technology certification or Transportation Construction Inspection Level IV certification.
- Successful completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course.
