About the job
- Two to three years of work experience, training, or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming, and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
- Experience or training with a variety of fire alarm systems, including Notifier, Fire-Lite, and Silent Knight.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain any other applicable state licenses.
- Must be able to satisfy government, federal, and customs background check requirements.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.
- Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing and troubleshoot issues that arise.
- Install fire alarm equipment and service, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems.
- Interact with customers, contractors, vendors, and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
