  • City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in either a mechanical or electrical discipline is preferred.
  • For Electrically biased engineers a AM2 and/or a qualification up to C&G 2391 Test & Inspect would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Analytical survey of control equipment, both electrical and physical.
  • Isolate, dismantle and inspect pumping equipment, including moving parts and lubricants.
  • Examine and report any defects.
  • Supply details, measurements, and full descriptions of any components that require replacement.
  • Work as part of a team where health and safety demands.
  • Lifting of pumping equipment using the appropriate tools supplied by Xylem Water Solution UK Ltd.
  • Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Guide and support junior team members; may assist in their formal training.
  • HSE is paramount and safety guidelines will always need to be followed.
