Requirements
  • A BS degree in Engineering is required.
  • At least 7–10+ years of overall experience in process control and automation is required.
  • At least 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry or operating-facility experience is required.
  • Experience in consulting and/or system integration is required.
  • Experience with Rockwell human-machine interface and programmable logic controller systems is required.
  • A solid background in engineering, preferably electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, is required.
  • Experience with technical management of projects is required.
  • Experience with client service management is desirable.
  • Some experience supporting peer development through mentoring and coaching is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute complex process control system integration projects.
  • Review software and documentation.
  • Review and lead the execution of test plans.
  • Review and prepare project proposals for clients.
  • Lead design discussions and decisions.
  • Interface with customers during technical discussions.
  • Lead the entire project lifecycle from initial proposal through design, implementation, qualification, and cost of ownership.
  • Manage project-team resources and assign tasks.
  • Track delegated tasks for team members.
  • Coordinate with the project manager regarding project schedule, task status, and resource usage.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Rockwell batch systems.
  • Experience with human-machine interface systems such as iFix or Wonderware.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers such as Rockwell or Allen-Bradley.
  • Experience with distributed control systems such as DeltaV.
