  • Perform internal audits focused on inventory integrity, emissions data completeness, and recordkeeping gaps, and drive corrective actions with manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Own and operate continuous emissions and activity tracking for emission sources in a mass manufacturing setting, including process units, coating/painting, combustion equipment, tanks, fugitive sources, and other site sources; use the information for applicable reports such as annual emission fees.
  • Maintain throughput, operating hours, material usage, operating parameters, and monitoring data as required while production volumes and schedules vary.
  • Own area emission-unit inventories and source-level tracking for current or incoming equipment, and track equipment modifications or decommissioning and changes in production rates, product mix, or process recipes.
  • Work with process owners to review and assess equipment buy-offs and coordinate emissions testing with contractors when necessary.
  • Support permit applications, amendments, and renewals; work with the environmental lead, stakeholders, and consultants to develop long-term permitting plans.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting EPCRA lists/thresholds and air-permit recordkeeping, update tracking practices, and brief management.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with governmental stakeholders, including TCEQ, RRC, LCRA, and local county and city authorities.

About the company

SpaceX builds and launches reusable rockets and spacecraft for NASA, the military, and companies, and it runs Starlink, a satellite internet service for homes and businesses. In 2020, its Dragon capsule became the first privately built spacecraft to carry astronauts to the International Space Station. Its Falcon 9 rocket lands its first stage so the booster can fly again, which cuts launch costs, while Starlink beams internet from low-orbit satellites to small dishes for a monthly fee. SpaceX also owns xAI, maker of the Grok chatbot and owner of the social network X, and is building Starship, a fully reusable rocket meant to carry people to the Moon and Mars. Elon Musk founded SpaceX in 2002, and it is based in Starbase, Texas.

Musk says SpaceX secured $40B in GPU debt and predicts neocloud failures

SpaceX has secured $40 billion in GPU financing, chief executive officer Elon Musk said, and he warned that many neoclouds will fail as credit tightens. Shares of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) rose nearly 1% late Sunday. Musk said the debt is mainly callable and covers GPUs arriving in the first and second quarters of 2027. He credited SpaceX's investment-grade rating and its Starlink and launch revenue, and said the "200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation." SpaceX will not buy any, he added. Analyst Dan Ives expects 800-1,000 new US data centres and called the race for computing power a "Game of Thrones" battle. SpaceX's third-quarter revenue rose 161% to $14.6 billion.

Ukraine disputes Musk's claim it used Starlink for strikes, calling it "physically impossible

A Ukrainian defence technology adviser has disputed Elon Musk's claim that Ukraine's military broke Starlink's terms of service. Serhii Beskrestnov, who advises President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said existing limits made such strikes "physically impossible." Musk said on X that Ukraine used Starlink for offensive drone strikes. Beskrestnov wrote on Telegram that the civilian system does not work over Russian territory, and that drones using Starlink have had a speed cap of 70 to 90 km/h for months. Ukrainian officials said the restrictions disrupted drone air defence and left the country exposed to Russian attacks. High-speed service has since been restored. The episode has pushed Ukraine and its allies to seek "sovereign" satellite systems. Starlink earned $5.25 billion in revenue in the third quarter of 2026, up from $3.1 billion a year earlier.

SpaceX Q3 revenue jumps 161% to $14.6B, but is the stock too pricey at 67x sales?

SpaceX reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% year over year. Net income was $4.4 billion, against a $1.1 billion loss a year earlier. Its AI segment, now called super intelligence, brought in $7.6 billion, up 830% and 52% of the total. Alphabet's Google will pay SpaceX $920 million a month for compute starting this month. Connectivity revenue rose 69% to $5.2 billion, with operating income up 99% to $2.4 billion. Starlink grew from 12 million to 13.6 million consumer subscribers. Spending is heavy. Third-quarter capex was $19.6 billion, and SpaceX guided to $35 billion to $40 billion for the fourth quarter. The stock trades at about 67 times trailing sales, at roughly $150 to $160 a share.

Tesla stock is down 17% in a year; $20B capex cut and SpaceX merger terms loom

Tesla shares have fallen 17.1% over the past year, closing at $372.22 on October 23. The worst damage followed a July report showing a $1.1 billion free cash burn. The October update helped. Third-quarter free cash flow turned positive at $1.53 billion, and Tesla cut its 2026 capital spending guide to about $20 billion from more than $25 billion. Shares still fell 2% the next day. The mean analyst price target is $408.36, 9.7% above the close. Investors also face a possible merger with SpaceX. SpaceX said on October 22 that no determination had been made, and any deal would need approval from Elon Musk, its controlling shareholder. No terms exist yet.

SpaceX at $2.16T: why one analyst sees the stock back near $150 by 2030

SpaceX, valued at a market cap of $2.16 trillion, posted third-quarter revenue growth of 161% year over year, with gains across all its segments. Its AI business, which rents data center computing power to hyperscalers, saw sales jump more than ninefold to $7.56 billion. The company also launched its first commercial Starship mission, delivering 26 Starlink V3 satellites into low Earth orbit. A merger with Tesla, which has a market cap of $1.5 trillion, may come next. Reuters reports Wall Street sees the deal as "inevitable," and both companies have formed special committees to discuss it. Writer Will Ebiefung of The Motley Fool warns of a price-to-sales multiple of 68, against an S&P 500 average of 3.8. He predicts the stock could fall to around $150 by the end of 2030.
