The platform differs from competitors through a large global creator community, integrated marketing tools, and rapid trend cycles that drive high engagement. TikTok adds voice comments, polls and photo carousels. TikTok is adding 60-second voice replies, global comment polls and photo carousels of up to nine images. Sep 3, 2026 TikTok comment updates are adding voice comments, global polls and richer photo replies, giving users more ways to interact beneath a video. The changes were announced on 3 September and include a few features that will arrive over the next month. TikTok said users share more than 1.7 billion comments on the platform each day. The new tools widen the comment section beyond text and single-image replies, although the app is still leaving room for people who prefer to simply scroll past it all. TikTok voice comments are rolling out globally. Voice Comments let users record and post audio replies directly beneath any video. A message can run for up to 60 seconds, and anyone can tap it to listen. The feature is rolling out globally over the next month to accounts belonging to users aged 18 and over, according to TikTok's announcement. Creators and viewers can use the tool for spoken reactions, singing or replies that would be awkward to type. TikTok has not given a more specific country-by-country rollout schedule, so UAE availability will depend on when individual accounts receive the update. TikTok comment updates: polls and photo replies get more room. Comment Polls are available globally now. Creators can add a poll when commenting on their own video, choose up to five options and set how long voting remains open. Results can be tracked directly in the comment section. Live Photo Comments are also available globally, allowing users to upload Live Photos from their camera roll. Photo Carousel Comments, which let users add up to nine images in one comment, are rolling out globally over the next month. Engadget's report confirms the same rollout split between the features available now and those arriving gradually. These TikTok comment updates do not include UAE-specific timing beyond the global rollout language. Users in the UAE will need to keep the app updated and wait for the tools to appear on their accounts. Related coverage: TikTok's UAE economic impact and TikTok's MENA safety reporting. What changes for TikTok creators. The updates give creators more ways to ask for reactions and gather quick feedback without sending viewers away from a video. Polls can collect a simple choice, while voice and photo replies make comment threads more expressive and potentially longer-lived. TikTok's supplied image URLs were not usable as article artwork: the files rendered as blank colour fields when checked. Engadget's image was also a blank colour field after download, while existing TikTok images in the tbreak media library were either inaccessible to visual verification or unrelated. The draft therefore uses no image rather than an irrelevant asset. Two newsletters. Zero noise. Pick what lands in your inbox. Unsubscribe anytime. Tbreak Media don't share your email. Are TikTok voice comments available in the UAE? How long can a TikTok voice comment be? How many options can a TikTok comment poll have?

GTA VI record highlights streaming entertainment trends. Discover more Computer & Video Games Battle Royale Games Web Apps & Online Tools Table of Contents Introduction. The recent release of the Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) trailer on Netflix surprised everyone. Instead of just showing movies or TV shows, Netflix dropped a 26-minute video game preview that took the internet by storm. This event highlights a big change happening in streaming entertainment. Streaming platforms are no longer sticking to just films and series - they're mixing games, movies, TV shows, short videos, and more into one space. This article will explore the massive success of the GTA VI trailer, how streaming services are shifting their content, and what these changes mean for the future of entertainment. The original story comes from a report by The Hollywood Reporter. The GTA VI trailer breaks records on Netflix. In August 2023, Netflix released something very different: a 26-minute peek at the upcoming GTA VI video game. Usually, Netflix shares movies and TV episodes, but this time, it gave fans a glimpse of one of the world's most popular games. People loved it! So many viewers tuned in that Netflix's app slowed down worldwide - a sign that this was no ordinary launch. The numbers were amazing. The trailer racked up 31.1 million views, topped the charts in 87 countries, and even beat top movies like "Extraction 2." On the same day, Netflix downloads spiked by 24%, showing how excited people were to watch this new kind of content. This success showed that gamers and non-gamers alike are interested in experiencing entertainment in new ways. It wasn't just a trailer; it was a new form of storytelling that combines gaming with streaming. How streaming platforms are changing their content. Not long ago, streaming services were all about movies and TV shows. But people's watching habits have changed. Now, more viewers use phones and tablets, often watching short videos instead of long programs. Streaming platforms have noticed this and are adding many new types of content to keep viewers interested. For example, Disney is working with TikTok to create short clips from their big movies and shows. HBO Max and Peacock are making videos and games designed for mobile users. These platforms want to offer something fresh because people don't want to watch the same old content all the time. This shift is important because entertainment today needs to be fast, fun, and easy to access. Short videos and interactive experiences fit this style perfectly. Streaming and gaming come together. One of the biggest changes in streaming is the blend of gaming and video content. Netflix started adding games to their app a few years ago, recognizing that many users are also gamers. Peacock, another streaming service, is investing in gaming content too. In July 2023, Amazon Prime Video rolled out a new games tab filled with popular titles. Amazon's gaming boss said the future of entertainment will blur the lines between movies, TV shows, and games. This means watching a show, playing a game, and interacting with stories might all happen in the same space. This blending helps streaming platforms hold on to people longer. When viewers can switch between watching and playing, they spend more time inside the app - and that means more engagement, more fun, and more opportunity for creators. Discover more Conclusion. The massive success of the GTA VI trailer on Netflix is a clear sign that streaming entertainment is changing fast. Helpful Info For You is moving beyond just movies and TV shows to a world where games, short videos, social media, and AI experiences all come together. Video Games In the future, viewers will enjoy much more varied and interactive content. Streaming platforms will offer new ways to watch, play, and connect. This exciting mix will change how Helpful Info For You experience entertainment, shaping it for years to come. Whether you're a gamer, a movie fan, or someone who loves quick, fun videos, the future holds something special for you in the streaming world. Last updated on September 2, 2026

TikTok announces new ways to comment, including voice messages and polls. (NEW YORK) - TikTok is giving users new ways to join conversations on the platform. The social media company on Thursday announced several new comment features that will allow people to leave voice messages, vote in polls and share multiple photos under videos. More than 1.7 billion comments are shared on TikTok each day, according to the company. Among the updates is Voice Comments, a new feature that TikTok says it will allow users to record and post audio messages directly under videos. "Sound and music have shaped TikTok from the very beginning, turning songs into trends and audio clips into jokes shared across the app," TikTok said in its announcement. To leave a voice comment, users can tap the microphone icon in the comment box and record a message up to 60 seconds long. Once posted, anyone can tap to listen. Voice Comments will roll out globally over the next month to accounts belonging to people ages 18 and older, according to TikTok. The company also announced Comment Polls, which will allow creators to ask followers to vote directly under their videos. Creators can add a poll while commenting on their own video, choose up to five options and set a timeframe for voting. They can also track results as votes come in, TikTok said. TikTok is also expanding its photo comment feature with Photo Carousel Comments and Live Photo Comments. With Photo Carousel Comments, users can share up to nine photos in a single comment. TikTok said the feature is designed to allow people to "share a full moment instead of just one frame." The feature will roll out globally over the next month. Live Photo Comments, meanwhile, allow people to upload Live Photos directly from their camera rolls, giving images a brief burst of motion. The feature is now available globally, according to TikTok.
