Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and provide non-surgical medical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems to hospitalized patients.
  • Visit patients daily in order to determine their health status and if they need to remain at the hospital.
  • Provide emergency and inpatient medical care to patients of private physicians.
  • Review the patient's plan of care with the patient, family and appropriate health care providers on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with his/her team, other healthcare professionals and ancillary personnel to resolve issues or concerns.
