LFNO is a public charter school system in New Orleans that delivers bilingual education in French and English for students from kindergarten through high school across multiple campuses. Its core offering blends American and French curricula to meet standards from both education systems, supported by public funding, grants, and donations. The school provides services such as academic tutoring, test preparation, and job search assistance, and engages in extracurricular activities and community involvement to support a well-rounded experience. Unlike many single-language or single-system schools, LFNO integrates two educational traditions, serves a diverse local and international student body, and focuses on financial sustainability through efficient resource management and community support. The goal is to provide high-quality, dual-language education that prepares students for success in both American and French contexts while maintaining fiscal stability.
