About The Role

Are you ready to dive into complex business environments and contribute to high-impact recommendations that drive client success? As an Intern at FTI Consulting, you will be immersed in a dynamic and collaborative working environment where our experienced consultants will mentor you in the journey to identify challenges, perform in-depth analysis and generate insights that shape strategic decisions. 

You will be part of the Business Transformations team, which brings together top-tier consultants and former industry executives to deliver practical, actionable solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with recognized experts in small teams that encourage and reward collaboration.

FTI Consulting is looking to invest in your future by considering you for a summer Intern opportunity, between June and August 2027. 

What You’ll Do

As an Intern in FTI Consulting, you will be an integral part of a team. You will engage in activities that support our clients’ projects and contribute to our firm’s business development and intellectual capital development efforts. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide support on live projects, including interaction with other team members, professionals from other firms involved in the engagement and client personnel.
• Apply business, strategy, finance and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines (e.g., market sizing, market modelling, strategic planning, assessing business plans, etc.).
• Supporting the development of strategic plans, business transformation and integration of companies.
• Drafting of client presentations as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
• Assisting in the development of pitch books and other marketing materials.
• Conducting research on public and private companies and various industries.

We encourage continuous learning and individual skill development through on-the-job training, self-directed professional development courses, and certifications. You will receive your own coach who will support you as a mentor and guide you through regular coaching sessions. This coach will act as a promoter of your professional development.

You will be matched with a Coach and Orientation Advisor to connect with throughout the internship program.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Studying towards your MBA degree, with a graduation date in 2027 or 2028
• Minimum three years of work experience desired in a financial, analytical, business or commercial role
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both orally and written
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire duration of the internship  
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Collaborative with strong project and people skills
• Able to conduct research effectively, both independently and as part of a team
