About the job

Requirements
  • Demonstrated depth in TypeScript across the stack, including Node on the server and React in the browser, with experience taking a feature from the data model through the interface.
  • Daily experience using AI-assisted development on production code, including judgment about when not to trust AI output.
  • Experience applying AI to a large unfamiliar codebase and validating or correcting confidently incorrect results caused by incomplete system context.
  • Experience helping other engineers improve how they use AI.
  • Experience applying domain-driven design in a complex domain, including defining boundaries against systems that cannot be changed.
  • Experience building software where defects have consequences beyond a poor user experience, with corresponding changes to testing and release practices, and on-call responsibility.
  • Experience with data modeling and query performance in a tenant-based data model, including fixing a query that failed at larger customer scale.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product and influence what gets built by understanding the underlying business problem.
Responsibilities
  • Migrate clinical workflows from ColdFusion to the new platform and determine undocumented behavior as part of the rebuild.
  • Own clinical domains end to end through production and write tests that demonstrate migrated workflows work correctly.
  • Collaborate with product to define deliberate differences in redesigned workflows and prevent them from being mistaken for regressions.
  • Build new clinical capabilities on domains after they are migrated.
  • Work with the product manager on scope and sequencing, and challenge approaches when a lower-cost solution achieves the same caregiver outcome.
  • Contribute to engineer-owned automated test coverage and carry the pager for owned domains.
  • Assess whether AI-generated work is fit to merge and keep code review from slowing the migration.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience completing a legacy-to-next-generation migration, especially when both systems operated in production concurrently.
  • Experience with ColdFusion or another inherited programming language.
  • Experience working with HIPAA, protected health information, or another regulated data environment.
  • Production experience with SQL Server, Amazon Web Services, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience building offline-first or progressive web applications.
  • Ownership of Playwright or comparable browser automation.
  • Healthcare experience or experience observing clinical staff at work.

ECP and Rendever partner on resident engagement and outreach.

ECP and Rendever partner on resident engagement and outreach. This new integration syncs resident data between ECP and CommunityOS, Rendever's platform for activity planning, social connection, and family outreach. Milwaukee, WI - September, 2026 - ECP, the leading all-in-one software provider for senior living communities, today announced an integration with Rendever, known for resident engagement technology. The integration connects resident information in ECP directly to CommunityOS, Rendever's platform for planning activities, tracking social connection, and coordinating family outreach. Communities can also bring Rendever's virtual reality programming into that same planning through the connection. What this means for operators For communities using both platforms, resident demographics, location, status, and contact information entered in ECP flow directly into CommunityOS. From there, activity staff can plan programming, track social connection, and coordinate family outreach without re-entering resident information. Communities can also fold Rendever's group virtual reality sessions into that programming, letting residents travel to bucket list destinations together, revisit meaningful places from their past, or stay connected with family who live far away. "Activity staff spend real hours every week planning programming, tracking social connection, and keeping families in the loop. That's real work, and it deserves accurate information behind it. We built this integration so the data driving CommunityOS comes straight from ECP, without anyone re-typing it by hand." - Tyler Jenkins, Head of Business Development at ECP Why it matters Senior living operators already track a lot in ECP: who lives where, their care needs, their billing status, plus more. CommunityOS tracks a different piece of the resident experience: activity participation, social connection, and family outreach. Together, the two platforms give communities one accurate resident record spanning both sides, so nobody has to update the same information twice. "Senior living communities already know a great deal about a resident's care, but that's only part of their story. We also need to understand whether they're building meaningful relationships, finding purpose, and feeling a sense of belonging. We are excited to bring ECP and CommunityOS together connecting these two sides of the resident experience, giving teams a more complete picture of the person and better information to support their social health" - Nicole Will, Head Marketing and Partnerships at Rendever Rendever joins ECP's Integration Hub The integration is live today for communities running both ECP and CommunityOS. Neither team has to keep resident data updated in two places. It's the newest addition to ECP's Integration Hub, which connects more than 75 named technology partners across pharmacy, billing, BI, workforce, resident engagement, dining, and safety. About ECP ECP is the leading all-in-one software provider for senior living communities, offering eMAR, EHR, CRM, Move-Ins, Billing and Insights. Designed to enhance resident care, staff efficiency, and operational success, ECP's technology is trusted by over 8,500 communities nationwide. With a commitment to seamless integrations and data accessibility, ECP is making senior living software simpler and smarter. Learn more at https://www.ecp123.com. From senior living communities to hospitals, the platform is being used to reduce depression and loneliness by fostering personal connections among populations where life has become limited. Participants in group sessions can check off bucket list items together, revisit meaningful places and share stories, stay engaged with family members, and more. Rendever is being used by high-profile senior living operators, including Oakmont Management Group, Marquis Health, and MBK Senior Living, healthcare systems such as UCHealth and Cleveland Clinic, has research funded by the NIH and NIA, and has launched commercial partnerships with major organizations like AARP and Verizon. Communities using both systems don't have to enter that information twice, and staff can use CommunityOS to plan activities, track social connection, and coordinate family outreach. Communities can also bring Rendever's group virtual reality sessions into that same programming. Is the ECP and Rendever integration available now? Yes. The integration is live for communities running both ECP and CommunityOS. Which ECP data syncs with CommunityOS? Ecp Uses Ai To Improve Medication Safety In Over 7,500 Senior Living Communities

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ECP, leading provider of software to over 7,500 senior living and other long-term care communities, announced the release of a suite of AI-powered tools to significantly improve medication safety and improve clinical outcomes for senior living residents. ECP connects senior living communities in all 50 states to a network of over 500 long-term care pharmacies, providing real-time medication order information that is used by med passers to safely administer medications, a tool known as electronic medication administration records, or “eMAR”. ECP’s newly announced AI-powered tools represent a significant step forward in both eMAR innovation and medication safety. ”A typical senior in an assisted living community can be on a dozen or more medications, each with a different dose, route, and schedule. For larger communities, this can mean thousands of meds to pass in a single day. Even a single mistake can have potentially devastating consequences for a resident
