CLEANING & FACILITIES
Location: Battersea Power Station Pay: £13 /hr
One City is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as Cleaning & Facilities support. This role is the backbone of the studio experience — a high-performance studio only feels high-performance when it's spotless, stocked, and ready to go. You'll be responsible for maintaining our cleanliness standards throughout the day, keeping every space performance-ready from open to close.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Studio Cleanliness
Between-Class Turnaround: Clean and reset studio rooms in between and after every class, ensuring the space is spotless and ready for the next session.
Continuous Standards: Maintain consistent cleaning of changing rooms, walkways, and reception areas throughout your shift — not just at set intervals.
Towels & Stock
Towel Management: Keep towels cleaned, folded, and fully replenished throughout the day.
Stock Replenishment: Monitor and top up amenities and consumables (toiletries, supplies, etc.) so members never find anything running low.
Operational Support
Proactive Eye: Spot and resolve cleanliness issues before they become member-facing problems.
Team Coordination: Work alongside the Front of House and Studio Lead team to keep the whole studio "performance-ready" at all times.
What we're looking for:
Reliable & Consistent: You take pride in doing the small things right, every single time.
Detail-Oriented: You notice what others miss — a smudge, an empty dispenser, a towel out of place.
Fast-Paced Environment: You're comfortable working around a live, busy studio without disrupting the member experience.
Team Player: You work well independently but stay coordinated with the wider studio team.
THE LOGISTICS
Flexibility is Key: Our community moves early and stays late. Shifts can start as early as 5:30am or finish as late as 8:30pm.
Weekend Energy: We're open 7 days a week, so regular weekend work is required.
