- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent is required.
- At least two years of veterinary nursing experience is required.
- The candidate must be able to provide high-quality patient care in busy conditions.

- The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Provide emergency and critical care to veterinary patients in a 24-hour hospital.
- Participate in continuing education, regular seminars, training, and ongoing in-house mentorship.
- Previous experience working within an emergency and specialty hospital is highly regarded but not essential.
