About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 4 years, or equivalent depth, in product engineering, growth engineering, or a product role involving shipping one's own code.
  • Recent experience shipping production code in TypeScript, React, or similar; AI-assisted code counts.
  • A track record of measured wins in activation, conversion, retention, or reactivation in a consumer product.
  • Comfort with event-driven systems, product analytics, experiment design, and lifecycle platforms.
  • Intermediate SQL or better.
  • Ability to work remotely in a high-intensity role with full ownership and little scaffolding.

Responsibilities

  • Own the core product's north star, input metrics, roadmap, and quarterly plan.
  • Rank bets by measured impact on conversion, retention, and lifetime value, keeping the list short.
  • Write short updates about results rather than activity.
  • Investigate onboarding, payment, and lifecycle workflows by watching sessions, querying data, and reading support conversations.
  • Size opportunities before building.
  • Prototype in sandbox environments and ship production pull requests directly, using agents heavily.
  • Instrument events cleanly and fix event and property gaps.
  • Run experiments end-to-end, from hypothesis and sizing through launch and readout.
  • Own the lifecycle system, including workflows, templates, triggers, and monitoring.
  • Build agentic workflows that propose, launch, and report experiments with decreasing manual involvement.
  • Build the highest-leverage improvements across the existing product.
  • Build a system that runs experiments with fewer humans in the loop over time.
  • Keep the team informed about product direction and results.

Desired Qualifications

  • Consumer fintech experience.
