What believers are saying

  • Providence listed St. Jude Neighborhood Health as accepting new patients in 2025.
  • Updated 2026 pages show broader payer acceptance, including Medi-Cal, CalOptima, and Covered California PPO.

What critics are saying

  • Medicaid and CalOptima reimbursement drives revenue, exposing 2026 margins to policy cuts.
  • If Providence exits, neighborhood clinics lose funding and underinsured patients lose access.
