Requirements
  • A GED or high school diploma is required.
  • Three years of experience performing general maintenance work in a commercial facility is required.
  • Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment is required.
  • The ability to understand verbal or written directions from a lead, supervisor, or other craftsmen is required.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds, squat, bend, stoop, kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods, and perform constant arm extensions is required.
  • The ability to pass a local background check is required.
  • Attendance is required for successful performance.
Responsibilities
  • Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
  • Perform minor repairs to or replacement of concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
  • Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
  • Hang doors, install door locks, and replace broken windowpanes.
  • Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Touch up paint or patch walls.
  • Work with team members to maintain the maintenance and upkeep of facility grounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken windowpanes is preferred but not required.
