At least 3 years in leadership roles leading high performance engineering teams
Servant leader used to getting your hands dirty with your team

7+ years of software development experience

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional squad responsible for the execution of LTK's video strategy
Own the technical definition and execution of LTK's video focused efforts
Collaborate with the media team to ensure operational excellence of the video experience for our creators and shoppers
Recruit and hire software engineers for your team
Develop the team through mentorship, coaching, and regular feedback sessions
Coordinate with product, design, marketing, and support to define roadmap and requirements
Contribute to development, code reviews, maintenance, and architectural discussions
Participate in on-call rotations with your team
Maintain and improve team productivity, ensure proper SDLC, and remove blockers
Produce high quality technical documentation and artifacts

Desired Qualifications

Experience with live video systems
Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems, computer science, data engineering, analytics, or equivalent quantitative field

Title : Engineering Manager, Video

Location : Remote from the U.S.

Job Purpose

LTK is searching for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the squad that will own our creator shopping video strategy. As the Engineering Manager leading our video team, you will be working closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering teams. This is a key role in helping shape the future of creator guided shopping and shoppable video. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in Transcoding, Delivery, and Playback.

Key Responsibilities
