We’re seeking a talented mid-level designer fluent in branding and UX/UI to join our team and help build out the Aya digital experience. As digital designer you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining intuitive and visually appealing designs across websites, branding, collateral and beyond.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, art directors, developers, and stakeholders, to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Create better experiences utilizing storytelling and collaboration to complete sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to ensure a cohesive and seamless user experience across all touchpoints.
- Maintaining and updating design systems across multiple products
- Work with project/product managers, stakeholders, and developers to define project goals, requirements, and timelines.
- Identify and resolve UI issues, as well as innovate user experience across all areas of design.
- Make layout changes based on user feedback, stakeholder needs, and industry standards.
- Follow, update, and maintain style guidelines and asset libraries.
- Experience creating best-in-class visual and interaction design, you’re all about details, from responsive design to web typography.
Required Qualifications:
Soft Skills:
- Work both in a group and independently.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Multitasking: Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and applying them to enhance our products.
Technical Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in design, computer science or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a UX/UI designer, or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work for mobile and web platforms.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, and Creative Cloud.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a11y best practices
- Familiarity with user research methodologies, including usability testing and user interviews.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $40.87 to $48.08 hourly, which equates to $85,000 to $100,000 annually.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
