  • Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
  • At least two years in a P&L ownership role - preferably as a GM, category manager, or founder at a direct-to-consumer eCommerce consumer business (managing at least $25-50 million in revenue)
  • Experience in operating or partnering with core retail functions, including merchandising, sourcing, inventory planning, fulfillment and logistics
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing channels and funnel metrics (e.g., paid social, search), preferably with in-house teams versus agency partners
  • Ability and willingness to operate on a strategic and tactical level, taking on executional day-to-day tasks when needed to drive the business
  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills
  • Ability to operate and drive data-oriented action in ambiguity without significant guidance
Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategic plan to achieve category revenue and contribution margin targets
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across merchandising, sourcing, marketing, inventory and logistics functions to build and optimize day-to-day operations
  • Identify and work to unblock bottlenecks and opportunities requisite to drive step changes in category growth
  • Leverage a detailed understanding of marketing performance metrics to build category-specific growth marketing plans driving accretive return on ad spend
  • Report on weekly performance goals across key metrics
  • Stay up-to-date on all relevant market knowledge and competitive trends
  • Build, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
