  • For Clinical Research Coordinator A: bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • For Clinical Research Coordinator B: bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement research projects focused on lung transplantation and disease.
  • Screen, recruit, and consent patients according to protocol.
  • Schedule and conduct patient study visits.
  • Collect study data, complete case report forms, enter data into study databases, and resolve data-entry errors and queries.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions.
  • Communicate with study team members.
  • Organize and maintain study documentation.
  • Collect and process study specimens.
  • Participate in recurring study team meetings.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding patient safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity.
  • Adhere to University of Pennsylvania and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • For Clinical Research Coordinator B, establish workflows, pathways, and methods to operationalize protocols; regularly prepare, draft, and submit regulatory correspondence; and mentor and train less-experienced research staff as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Regulatory experience is preferred for Clinical Research Coordinator B.
