Responsibilities
  • Monitor and research competitive and technology trends that strengthen the Company's long-term competitive position.
  • Manage and implement innovative communications, marketing, leasing, and advertising programs using emerging technologies to improve efficiencies.
  • Ensure the Company's customer relationship management application is leveraged effectively and efficiently to meet customer service expectations and identify performance trends.
  • Research and develop policies, work processes, and procedures for Highmark business functions as necessary.
  • Build, develop, and manage a marketing team capable of carrying out marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Grow and advocate for the department and existing team members, ensuring the group is visible and supported across the organization.
  • Ensure all marketing communications and initiatives are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives, and use resources effectively.
  • Create and manage annual marketing budgets and expenditures.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve business goals.
  • Oversee an institutional and system-wide benchmark system to track, measure, and analyze marketing expenditures.
  • Review current market data to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and create short- and long-term response strategies to improve or enhance operations and financial performance.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and analytical analysis of the Company's Reputation Management Program.
  • Oversee the execution of all social media strategies and programs to ensure brand consistency and policy adherence.
  • Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations associated with requests for proposals to promote new business development and growth.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of the market research function.
  • Oversee the marketing and leasing onboarding process for new acquisitions.
  • Create and monitor innovative educational curricula to improve performance in leasing, community operations, customer service, and resident retention.
  • Lead the development and execution of an artificial-intelligence-enabled marketing strategy to improve leasing performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Design and implement automated and agent-based workflows to increase conversion and speed to lease.
  • Own and evolve the marketing technology stack, including customer relationship management, automation, and analytics, to ensure full integration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive predictive analytics and performance insights to inform pricing, demand generation, and customer segmentation.
