  • At least 2 years of program management experience, with a proven track record managing end-to-end program lifecycles from strategy through execution.
  • Familiarity with the federal or public sector sales environment, including its compliance landscape, procurement cycles, and buyer context.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Sales Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and cross-functional stakeholders, including in environments where reps are skeptical of enablement overhead.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent high-priority programs while staying organized and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with current artificial intelligence tools and systems, and ability to apply artificial intelligence to automate processes, personalize learning, or enhance enablement impact, including content creation, communications, and transcript-based workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch a structured, role-based onboarding program for Public Sector new hires across the Deployment Strategist and Solution Engineering tracks.

  • Use the Sales Enablement Platform to deploy learning paths and track completion and readiness metrics.
  • Partner with the People team and business unit leadership to own onboarding for Public Sector new hires after company-wide orientation, ensuring a seamless handoff and cohesive end-to-end experience.
  • Launch foundational sales skills training for the Public Sector team, including proposal writing, discovery methodology, deal qualification, and the capture process.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks by motion for Public Sector representatives, and establish a recurring venue for platform capability updates to keep representatives current on the roadmap.
  • Establish and maintain the Public Sector go-to-market knowledge base, hosting sales collateral, templates, pitch decks, and training materials.
  • Serve as the day-to-day enablement partner to Public Sector go-to-market leadership, maintaining awareness of representatives’ needs and business changes.
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Designer to ensure onboarding and ongoing development content is engaging, role-appropriate, and effectively delivered across virtual instructor-led, on-demand, and asynchronous modalities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs and coordinate with the broader Sales Enablement team; act as a bridge between Public Sector and other business units, surface Enterprise content for Public Sector, and bring Public Sector learnings back to the organization.
  • Report on roadmap progress and program effectiveness to Public Sector and Enablement leadership on an ongoing basis.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with or exposure to business-to-business sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or Challenger, and/or government-specific frameworks such as Shipley for proposal development.
  • Experience with Sales Enablement Platforms (learning management systems/content management systems), Notion, or similar systems for program deployment and content management.
  • Background in artificial intelligence, data, or technical services, or experience enabling representatives who sell to technical buyers.
  • Comfort working alongside an Instructional Designer and contributing to e-learning module structure or curriculum sequencing.

About the Company

Scale AI

Supplies AI training data and builds AI apps

Scale AI supplies the data that AI labs use to train and test their models, and it builds custom AI applications for companies and government agencies such as the Pentagon. It first made its name labeling camera and sensor data for self-driving car companies like Waymo, then worked with OpenAI on InstructGPT, the 2022 forerunner of ChatGPT. Freelancers, some of them doctors and lawyers, write, label, and grade examples through its Outlier platform, and labs pay Scale for this data and for tests of model quality. Clients pay Scale to build AI tools on their own data, and some of those tools run on classified military networks. Alexandr Wang and Lucy Guo founded Scale AI in 2016, and it is based in San Francisco.
