High school diploma.
Completion of the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician module course.
Experience with children diagnosed with autism.
Must be able to commute to both clinic locations in McAllen and Edinburg as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one applied behavior analysis therapy in the center.
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans.
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Use safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
Ensure clients are in a safe and positive environment at all times.
Follow the policies and procedures of Aptus ABA Services.
Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with clients' individualized treatment and behavior-reduction protocols.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in center.

Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
