About the job

Requirements
  • Direct operator experience in farming, ranching, construction, or a trade; alternatively, hospitality, retail, or door-to-door sales experience in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
  • A thoughtful, compassionate, and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
  • Interest in leveraging and learning available AI tools to improve systems.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end product demonstrations and independently close customers.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound leads, guide customers to suitable products, and meet target numbers.
  • Build relationships with team members and cross-functional peers.
  • Learn and use HubSpot, Nooks, Slack, and other essential tools to manage and scale the sales pipeline.
  • Develop knowledge of small-business finance across core verticals and build intuition about customer needs and audience segmentation.
  • Develop sufficient product knowledge to answer most customer questions and provide detailed, prioritized feedback to product teams.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota to support growth targets.
  • Drive adoption of fintech and Full Service features to support long-term customer retention.
  • Qualify and serve owner-operators across multiple verticals, tailoring pitches and setup to their financial needs, including enterprise-level profit and loss for agriculture, job costing for contractors, accounts receivable velocity for high-volume invoicers, and per-property economics for landlords.
  • Understand market alternatives in each vertical and position Ambrook against them.
  • Interview, collaborate with, and help train peers and new team members.
  • Identify recurring themes from customer conversations and determine which ideal customer profile prospects can be served without a sales call, focusing sales time on larger, more complex operations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with product-led growth, sales-assist, activation or onboarding, or channel-partner motions.
  • Experience in an American real-economy industry such as agriculture, trucking, construction, trades, or property management.
  • Experience in fintech or accounting/bookkeeping.

About the company

Ambrook helps agriculture and natural resource businesses make sustainability practical by improving profitability. It offers software that tracks, analyzes, and reports environmental and resource-use data, enabling farmers and resource managers to implement sustainable practices while reducing costs and increasing margins. The product likely integrates with farm operations and data sources to quantify the financial impact of sustainability actions and to prioritize initiatives with the best ROI. Ambrook differentiates itself by focusing on turning sustainability into measurable business value rather than just compliance or reporting. The goal is to make sustainable practices financially attractive so that more operations adopt them and achieve better long-term performance.

What believers are saying

  • Ambrook closed a $30 million Series B on August 3, 2026.
  • Management says customer count grew from 2,500 to 8,000 in twelve months.
  • December 2025 inventory, 2026 recurring invoices, and NatGLC deepen workflow lock-in.

What critics are saying

  • QuickBooks remains the accountant-approved default, weakening Ambrook's replacement pitch.
  • Expansion into trucking, construction, and property management distracts from agriculture depth.
  • If farmers keep QuickBooks and use Ambrook as a feature, Ambrook loses.

What makes Ambrook unique

  • Ambrook unifies accounting, bill pay, banking, and inventory for farms and ranches.
  • Its books follow farm realities: fields, crops, seasons, livestock, and Schedule F.
  • The August 2026 Series B backs expansion across independent-operator verticals.
