Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients.
Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation. We provide this support free to doctors and patients, helping them get life-changing medicine faster, cheaper, and easier. The resulting network enables biopharma companies to design better research, launch new drugs more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions.
Forus has exceptional product-market fit and is growing rapidly through organic adoption:
Accelerating scale: We already support patients across more than 85% of ZIP codes and partner with 9 of top 15 largest biopharma companies in the world.
AI-native, durable model: Our business becomes stronger as AI improves, as every new doctor, patient, and partner makes the network more valuable.
Backing to build for the long term: We raised $300M+ from leading investors to build an exceptional team and unlock the full scale of the opportunity.
Our number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.
If we succeed, science will be the only limit to medicine.

Forus secures $150M Series C, reaches $3B valuation. Forus' $150 million Series C round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Avra, Human Capital, Neo, Vast Ventures and SV Angel. Forus, an AI platform for medicine, announced Tuesday that it raised $150 million in Series C funding at a $3 billion valuation. Forus, previously known as Tandem, offers a platform that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers and biopharma. The company uses AI agents to handle the administrative work between a provider prescribing a medication and a patient starting treatment, including navigating insurance, financial assistance and pharmacy logistics. Providers in all 50 states use the platform to treat patients in 85% of U.S. residential zip codes, according to the announcement. The $150 million Series C round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Avra, Human Capital, Neo, Vast Ventures and SV Angel. In total, Forus has raised more than $300 million. presented by In an interview, Kyan Health Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Konstantin Struck discussed how Kyan gives mid-market and enterprise employers access to premium workforce mental healthcare, at a price point that is affordable. "Forus is becoming how new medicine reaches people in America," said Kevin Zhang, general partner at Bain Capital Ventures, in a statement. "We have backed the company since its seed, and in that time the largest companies in medicine have turned to it to bring their newest medicines to patients. The next era of medicine will run on the AI-powered network Forus is building." With the financing, Forus is investing in three primary areas: deepening the platform with more AI agents and clinical models, expanding to all medical specialties and sites of care, and growing its technical and go-to-market teams, according to Sahir Jaggi, CEO of Forus. Currently, one-third of patients prescribed medications for high-cost or complex conditions never receive their first dose, forcing providers to rely on older, more accessible treatments rather than newer therapies that may offer better outcomes and fewer side effects, Jaggi said. "A single prescription can take up to 15 steps across insurance approvals, financial assistance, specialty pharmacy routing, and fulfillment," Jaggi stated. "Forus consolidates all of it into one system. The process differs for every patient, drug, payer, and pharmacy, leaving clinical teams to coordinate fragmented organizations and systems while patients wait without knowing what is happening. For providers and clinical staff, Forus closes that gap by giving every prescription an AI agent that reasons through the patient's clinical, insurance, and financial circumstances and takes the actions required to move the patient from prescription through treatment." Healthcare decision-makers, especially at pharmaceutical companies, must prioritize patient input. Data collected from social media listening is a significant step in the right direction. Ultimately, the company aims to put the Forus platform in every doctor's office across the U.S. "Making the development, launch, and delivery of each medicine faster, less expensive, and more predictable should allow biopharma companies to invest in more medicines and more indications," Jaggi said. "The larger opportunity is not simply helping today's treatments reach more people; it is helping more of the science being discovered become treatment in the first place."
Healthcare automation startup Forus has raised $150 million at a $3 billion valuation, just months after its previous funding round. Accel, Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, BoxGroup and Pear VC also participated in the round. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
AI Health company Forus raises $150 million at a $3 billion value. Micah Barkley (Bloomberg) - Healthcare automation startup Forus has raised $150 million at a $3 billion valuation just months after completing a previous funding round. The series C round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, a firm that has invested in the company since its early-stage funding. Accel, Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, BoxGroup and Pear VC also participated in the round, Forus said Tuesday. Forus, founded in 2023, uses artificial intelligence to help patients get prescribed drugs more quickly. Its technology handles steps such as navigating insurance coverage, financial assistance and pharmacies after a doctor writes a prescription. The platform is free for providers and patients and uses data from millions of cases to help speed up the process. "This one of the fastest growing companies across the entire bank Capital Ventures portfolio," said Bain Capital partner Kevin Zhang. Investors have shown growing interest in AI tools aimed at speeding up patients' access to medicines, with startups Latent raising $80 million in March and Courier Health securing $50 million in April. Forus had previously announced that it raised more than $160 million in May; the new money brings its funding total to over $300 million. "We take it as increased conviction from our existing investors and partners in the model, in our traction and how fast we're growing," said Forus Chief Executive Officer Sahir Jaggi in an interview. Jaggi said this funding will be used to build out its technology to keep up with growing customer demand. Forus not only handles the administrative part of accessing medication, but it also supports life science companies and biopharma by providing drugmakers with information on where patients and doctors run into problems and how medicines perform, Jaggi added.Zhang said that he believes AI will help accelerate the discovery of new medical cures in the coming years. "I think it's critically important that we have this network that works with insurance, doctors, pharma companies and patients to get everybody access to the care they need," said Zhang. Building the AI network for medicine. Announcing its $150M Series C at a $3B valuation to bring Forus to every doctor's office in America. Today, Forus Inc. is announcing that Forus has raised $150 million in Series C financing at a $3 billion valuation, led by Bain Capital Ventures, with every existing institutional investor reinvesting, including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Avra, Human Capital, Neo, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel. Forus Inc. has now raised more than $300 million in total funding to build the AI network for medicine. Medicine can do things today that sounded impossible a generation ago. New therapies are reaching people with depression after decades without meaningful progress. Gene therapies are changing the course of disease for children born with conditions that were once untreatable. Cancers that were once fatal are becoming conditions people live with for years. More capital is going into discovering new medicines than at any point in history, and AI is accelerating the discovery of new molecules even further. Discovery is only the beginning. Bringing a new drug from discovery to approval still takes more than a decade and billions of dollars. Once approved, it still has to reach the right physicians, get prescribed to the right patients, make it through insurance and distribution, and ultimately get into the patient's hands. A proven medicine can take years to reach most of the people it could help. Forus is building the AI network to make that entire process move faster. Forus Inc. connect the companies developing medicines with the doctors who prescribe them and the patients who need them, along with the payers and pharmacies required to move treatment through the system. Forus Inc. use AI to help medicine move from development through launch and ultimately reach the people it was created for. Building the network. Forus Inc. build that network by giving doctors and patients a platform that gets people onto the treatments their doctors prescribe. Today, doctors and patients often spend weeks or months working through insurance, financial assistance, and fulfillment before treatment starts, and more than a third of patients prescribed high-cost or complex medicines never receive their first dose. Forus closes that gap by giving every prescription its own AI agent, across every drug, payer, and pharmacy in the country, free for doctors and patients. Every person has a different medical history, insurance coverage, and financial situation, which govern how Forus Inc. navigate the supply chain for them. Its agents work like case managers, reasoning through each person's situation, determining what needs to happen next, and taking action across the portals, documents, phone calls, and faxes that the system still runs on. They draw on clinical models, specialized sub-agents, and what Forus Inc. has learned from millions of cases to get each patient from prescription to treatment. Building agents for this problem pushes well beyond automating a standard workflow with an LLM. There is no standard case. Every practice has different systems and processes, every drug and payer has different requirements, and every patient introduces a new combination of clinical history, coverage, eligibility, and cost. An agent has to assemble incomplete and sometimes conflicting information, reason through what is true, decide what to do next, and then act correctly across systems it does not control. Because the agent is responsible for moving a real patient through the process rather than simply producing an answer to a question, its bar for accuracy is near absolute. And Forus gets better as more of the country uses it. Every prescription gives its agents and teams another real case to learn from and expands what Forus Inc. understand about the combinations they will encounter next. Today, Forus supports millions of people across all 50 states, already reaching patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes. Accelerating new medicines. The same network can help biopharma develop and launch new medicines faster and more efficiently. Bringing a medicine to market requires recruiting the right patients for clinical trials, reaching the physicians whose patients can benefit, securing coverage and distribution, and understanding where adoption or access is breaking. Forus combines real-time visibility into how medicine is moving with connectivity across the doctors, patients, pharmacies, and payers involved, creating one network that can support these critical steps of development and launch. Nine of the top 15 global biopharma companies already work with Forus, alongside many fast-growing biotechs. If developing and launching each new medicine becomes faster, more efficient, and more predictable, biopharma can invest in more drugs for more diseases. That is the larger opportunity: not just helping individual medicines reach more people, but increasing how much new medicine can be pursued in the first place. More of the science being discovered can become treatment for real patients. Its goal is to put Forus in every doctor's office in the country, so every disease can be treated with the best medicine science can offer. The more medicine that moves through Forus, the more capable the network becomes at helping develop new treatments, launch them, and get them to the patients who need them. Medicine is advancing faster than at any point in history. Forus Inc. is building Forus to make sure everything required to turn that science into treatment can keep up. Forus Inc. will keep building until science is the only limit to medicine.
From weeks to hours: How Aspire Allergy & Sinus automated prior authorizations across 63 offices. Forus partnered with Aspire Allergy & Sinus to cut prior authorization turnaround times from two to four weeks to under two days - submitting PAs in under 24 hours, averaging approvals in just 1.7 days, and serving 1,500+ patients across 63 offices in the first few months. As one of the largest allergy practices in the country, Aspire Allergy & Sinus contends with the same prior authorization (PA) pressures every specialty practice faces - but at a scale where every delay is compounded across hundreds of patients. With Forus, patients who once waited two to four weeks for critical medications now receive them in days. By submitting PAs in under 24 hours and averaging approvals in just 1.7 days, Aspire ensures no patient falls through the cracks. When scope outgrows structure. Lori Garcia, Biologics Care Coordinator Supervisor, describes the reality of managing a massive multi-state practice with a lean team. Her incredible four-person department handles all specialty medication renewals and new orders across all 63 Aspire offices - a workflow volume that would stretch any team to its limit. At a practice processing 150+ prior authorizations every week, a multi-week bottleneck affects the entire operation. Providers lacked a transparent way to track authorization statuses, and the biologics team was left with zero bandwidth for complex clinical work because they were buried under routine specialty pharmacy renewals. Seamless implementation from day one. Integrating a new platform across a 63-office, five-state practice can be a daunting operational undertaking. Forus designed an onboarding process that felt seamless and required no downtime. The initial technical integration with Aspire's EHR, NextGen, was completed the same day. From there, the Forus team deployed comprehensive staff training, provided patient-facing educational materials to explain the text updates patients would receive, and established ongoing, bi-weekly operational check-ins with the Forus Provider Experience team. Putting clinical expertise back in the driver's seat. By partnering with Forus, Aspire automated its high-volume administrative tasks and cleared its backlog. At first, Aspire routed routine specialty pharmacy prescriptions and high-volume renewals through the Forus platform, instantly offloading the manual, time-consuming paperwork associated with those orders. After the initial success, Aspire's physicians quickly expanded their use of Forus beyond biologics, utilizing the platform for all medications like inhalers, topical creams, and nasal sprays to maximize their time with patients. This operational shift unlocked significant efficiencies across the practice: * Clinical Focus: The internal team redirected their time and expertise away from administrative tracking and back to complex clinical operations. Offloading routine renewals to Forus "freed the team up quite a bit," allowing them to shift their daily attention to "focus on the medical side of what they do." * High-Quality Appeal Letters: On the post-denial side, Forus generates "very well-written" appeal letters that staff can choose to review, edit, and submit in a few clicks. * Frictionless Patient Affordability: Forus embeds and autofills PAP and enrollment forms directly in the platform, replacing hours of paperwork and providing "a much better experience than having to go back and fill out an entire form on your own." The results. The impact showed up quickly across the practice: * Under 24 hours to submit a prior authorization after a prescription is written * 1.7 days average time to approval, down from 2-4 weeks * 1,500+ patients supported in the first few months * Thousands of prior authorizations processed across all 63 offices The ultimate impact: A patient story. The clearest measure of what Forus has changed at Aspire isn't found in a dashboard: it's felt in patient care. Recently, an internal administrative oversight left a severely distressed patient without a timely authorization. Facing an urgent situation, the Aspire team sent the script to Forus for immediate intervention soon after they started leveraging the platform. Forus secured the insurance approval that very same day. That moment reflects the broader shift Forus has enabled at Aspire: from a team perpetually struggling against the volume to one that can respond, adapt, and act on behalf of patients at the moment they need it. With thousands of prescriptions supported and 1,500+ patients served in just the first few months, the practice's prior authorization function is no longer just a workflow, but a distinct patient access advantage. Supporting your practice. If your allergy or specialty practice is ready to streamline prior authorizations and accelerate access to therapy, sign up your practice for Forus today or book a demo to learn more.
