Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Knowledge of the MPulse work order system.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, and diagrammed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, climb stairs and ladders, and work in dirty and hot environments.
  • Ability to operate a small utility vehicle.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
  • Perform basic repair, cleanup, and preventive-maintenance tasks for company equipment, buildings, and grounds with little or no supervision.
  • Perform standard maintenance activities including oil and filter work, propane supply, hazardous-material handling, trash removal, speed-bump maintenance, fire-extinguisher checks, freezer-condenser cleaning, exhaust-fan cleaning, downdraft-table cleaning, and cigarette-can maintenance.
  • Document and report activities in daily logs and daily crew meetings.
  • Use an iPad to retrieve work assignments, document actions taken, maintain daily activity records, and submit them for review.
  • Complete maintenance tasks to professional standards efficiently and effectively.
  • Dump scrap chips as part of standard work activities.
