- Previous experience as a chef working in a high-volume kitchen and in events.
- Demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving and an understanding of health and safety practices.
- Oversee and assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals and service across catering and events.
- Lead the brigade team in planning and developing menus, dishes, and concepts.
- Provide guidance to junior chefs and porters.
- Manage food production.
- Control each section's food storage area.
- Maintain food safety and health and safety procedures to the highest standard.
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating a professional working environment, maintaining company standards, and meeting client expectations.
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills.
