Requirements
- A technical diploma or degree, or demonstrated experience in the field.
- Experience developing business in the low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution sector, including knowledge of the relevant sectors, products, major brands, competitors, and market trends.
- Knowledge of the technical and functional specifications of electrical components and systems, including power centers, distribution switchboards, uninterruptible power supplies, generator sets, medium-/low-voltage transformers, and medium-/low-voltage substations.
- Ability to verify documentation supplied by third parties, formulate technical opinions, follow the approval process, and coordinate follow-up with suppliers.
- Ability to manage customer relationships and communicate effectively at multiple levels.
- Ability to independently plan activities, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Develop the business of the Electrical Distribution business unit among customers in the assigned geographic area.
- Support external sales representatives in customer negotiations by clearly and convincingly communicating the technical characteristics of offered products.
- Prepare technical proposals and customized offers based on customer needs.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with customers regarding products offered by the Electrical Distribution business unit.
- Analyze data, identify opportunities, and solve problems effectively.
- Provide training to Rexel internal personnel on the relevant business unit.
- Take a consultative approach with customers to support and guide their purchasing decisions.
- Achieve volume and margin targets for the business unit in the assigned geographic area.
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization-course certifications issued by certified organizations and/or plant-equipment suppliers.
- Experience using AutoCAD, AS400, and sector-specific software such as eXteem and PDC International.
