Position Overview:

As a member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production activity in your assigned areas.  Plant 4 is a Machining Facility but includes a separate building which is dedicated to Heat Treat processes.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise the activities of the employees to promote an efficient and safe work force.
• Review daily production requirements to meet daily production demand.
• Monitor quality of product to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions.
• Execute continuous improvement projects and action items.
• Collaborate with coworkers to develop solutions to solve problems.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong employee relations management experience
• Ability to coach, direct and develop employees
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to collaborate closely with operators
• Ability to be innovative
• Eagerness to learn and grow your career
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to collaborate closely with operators

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working in a technical process environment
• Supervisory experience in a machine shop
• Knowledge in Kronos (UKG)
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience

Working Conditions:

• Office and Production Floor settings, to include exposure to a Heat Treat environment
• The ability to work in an unsupervised environment
• May need to move around to separate locations throughout the day
