Responsibilities
  • Deliver cybersecurity training courses using proprietary training materials and the Battlegrounds platform.
  • Administer certification examinations to students.
  • Maintain Battlegrounds environments to support student training and instruction.
  • Support provisioning of Battlegrounds lab and scenario environments for non-student Battlegrounds customers.
  • Prepare classrooms and training environments for instruction.
  • Prepare and organize student materials.
  • Coordinate shipment of training materials as needed.
  • Clean and reset classrooms following training sessions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine Battlegrounds scenario designs.
  • Develop Battlegrounds scenarios based on approved requirements and designs.
  • Support Battlegrounds administrators with deployment of student environments and ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
  • Contribute to developing new cybersecurity course content, training materials, and instructional designs.
  • Review and recommend updates to existing curriculum to keep content relevant and effective.
  • Assist with business-development activities, including technical interviews, technical documentation, proposal-writing support, and proposal color reviews.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Ethical Hacker, or Offensive Security Certified Professional.

Markon acquires Millennium Corporation to expand mission-critical cyber capabilities across US defence and intelligence markets

Markon has acquired Millennium Corporation, a cyber-solutions company specialising in adversarial threat emulation and intelligence support operations for the Department of Defense. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition combines Markon's enterprise service delivery and Intelligence Community expertise with Millennium's defense market capabilities in cyber operations, engineering and testing. The combined organisation will consolidate research and development programmes and expand K>fivefour, a cybersecurity training and certification offering. Millennium founders Cedric Henry and Kevin Jennings are retiring following the transaction. Markon, a portfolio company of Sterling Investment Partners, focuses on cybersecurity and technology for national security clients across defense, intelligence and federal civilian agencies.
