Requirements
- The position requires 24-hour supervision and safety oversight of minors participating in the program.
- The position requires managing youth compliance policies and procedures.
- The position requires emergency response, direct communication with the Program Director and Program Manager, medication collection, storage and verification, and oversight of participant health information.
- The position requires monitoring participants’ safety, whereabouts, and actions at all times, including non-instructional times.
- The position requires identifying and responding to issues involving participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment.
- The position requires acting quickly and calmly using sound judgment, handling sensitive issues or information, addressing behavior issues, and following required notification protocols.
- The position requires a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the daily program administration.
- Assist with developing instructional content and deliver lessons and activities.
- Monitor the safety, whereabouts, and actions of program participants at all times.
- Respond to participant interaction, behavior, mental health, and acclimation issues.
- Collect, store, and verify participant medication and oversee participant health information.
- Communicate directly with the Program Director and Program Manager.
- Follow necessary notification protocols for participant-related incidents.
