Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks using military-specification connectors and connection boxes.
Pull cables of various lengths and sizes to accommodate system connections.
Work on shipboard availabilities with various teams.

Overview
R&P Technologies is looking for a marine electricial technician level I to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to assisting with the installation, repair and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment onboard US Navy ships in Norfolk, VA. R&P supports several different ship classes and types at various Navy installations around the United States coastal areas. This position will involve assisting in the installation of electrical cabling, building and testing of various electrical connectors, Installation of hardware and troubleshooting malfunctions in several different electrical and electronic systems. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Prior shipboard experience is preferred, but not required.
