Responsibilities
The post-doctoral fellow works with PI and other graduate students in reviewing and synthesizing existing literature to inform new proposal directions, establishing research plans, and developing advanced methodologies to explore human-AI interactive design domain.
The position is responsible for preparing high-quality scholarly publications, presentations, and research reports, as well as attending relevant meetings, workshops, and conferences as necessary.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering or science discipline received within the last three years.
Track record of academic excellence and scholarly work.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and strong communications and presentation skills.
Working knowledge in deep learning, cross-modal representation learning, statistics, and/or metaheuristic.
Evidence of programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and/or R.
Salary Range
$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Work is performed in a standard office environment

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
