  • Scripting skills in Python or TCL for automation.
  • Understanding of hardware-software interaction, including firmware and drivers.

About the company

Bolt Graphics designs GPUs for high-performance computing and professional workloads, focusing on path-tracing and electromagnetic simulations rather than AI features. Its Zeus architecture includes a RISC-V command processor, a custom SIMD layout, expandable DDR5 memory up to 2.25 TB, and built-in 400 GbE networking to connect GPUs in render farms, plus hardware to solve Maxwell’s equations. This combination targets non-AI workloads in markets like architecture, film, science, and gaming, differentiating it from competitors that emphasize AI upscaling. The company plans commercial chips on TSMC processes and is aiming to raise about $100 million at a $700 million valuation to push development and mass production into 2027–2028.
