Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a health-related field, such as Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Health & Wellness, or Health Information Management; or an associate degree in a related field, such as Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Health & Wellness, or Health Information Management, plus one year of clinical research or healthcare experience; or graduation from an accredited allied health program plus one year of clinical research or healthcare experience.
  • If the candidate has no degree, experience may be substituted at a two-for-one ratio, with at least one year of clinical research experience required.
  • One year of healthcare experience is required.
  • Registered Nurses and other Clinical Research Coordinators involved in direct patient care may be required to be licensed by the medical director.
  • BLS/Healthcare Provider certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in developing, coordinating, and implementing research and administrative strategies essential to managing clinical trials research.
  • Support research activities at the Wesley Chapel and Tampa Orthopedic FMC locations.
  • Screen patients for study eligibility.
  • Assist with patient study visits, primarily by administering quality-of-life questionnaires and collecting study-related data for entry into clinical research databases.
