Requirements
  • At least three years of outbound call center and/or customer service experience, with preference for healthcare experience, or two years of sales experience including appointment setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly, actively listen, navigate difficult conversations, handle objections, and address patient needs.
  • Good command of the English language and comfort speaking with Medicare beneficiaries by phone.
  • Ability to explain a service or program and overcome objections to participation.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, organize work, follow up with little to no supervision, and make sound decisions while following company standards and guidelines.
  • Quick problem-solving ability to assess and address member inquiries, objections, or concerns promptly.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure when managing upset or frustrated members while demonstrating empathy and support.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, including navigating multiple computer systems and screens while engaging with members.
  • Proficiency with call center software and related technologies, including documenting member interactions and accurately entering data.
  • Excellent data-entry skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or equivalent applications and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work assigned schedules, remain flexible to schedule changes, and potentially work beyond scheduled hours to support the WellBe model.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while performing data entry, managing calls, and using computer systems.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and compliance with the company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
  • Successful completion of a background check and ongoing satisfactory FACIS checks.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls and receive inbound calls from prospective and existing patients.
  • Engage prospective patients and schedule in-home annual and comprehensive wellness visits.
  • Conduct confirmation call reminders and assist with rescheduled and canceled visits.
  • Provide patients with answers to their questions and information about WellBe's services and benefits.
  • Support the in-home care team with information needed to engage patients in their health.
  • Introduce patients to WellBe and the services for which they qualify.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience assisting patients in navigating the complex health system.
  • Medicare experience.
  • Some college or an Associate's Degree.

WellBe Senior Medical has appointed four new leadership team members as the home-based medical care provider scales operations across the US. The company now serves over 120,000 patients in eight states. The new hires include Shafina Shehnaz as chief financial officer, bringing experience from Optum Health where she served as CFO of the care delivery arm. Sabita Lahiri joins as chief transformation officer after leading clinical strategy at Landmark Health for seven years. Dr Katrina Booth, a board-certified geriatrician, becomes chief medical officer, whilst Cammile Bird takes on the role of senior vice president of engagement. CEO Dr Jeff Kang said the appointments will help deliver personalised at-home care as WellBe enters "a pivotal chapter of growth".
