Java Developer - EDI
About the job
- The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of full life-cycle Java application development experience.
- The candidate must have experience using Oracle SOA Suite and/or Sun Java CAPS.
- The candidate must have implemented one or more HIPAA-compliant EDI transaction formats.
- The candidate must have experience with one or more X12 standard formats: 270, 271, 278, 276, 277, 820, 834, 835, 837P, 837D, or 837I.
- The candidate must have experience with HL7 version 2 and version 3 messaging standards, preferably with HL7 version 3 Reference Information Model.
- The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States as a Green Card holder, U.S. citizen, or Employment Authorization Document holder.
- Develop Java applications through the full application life cycle.
- Implement HIPAA-compliant EDI transaction formats.
- Work with HL7 messaging standards and healthcare data integrations.
- Three to five years of experience developing service-oriented architecture, Enterprise JavaBeans-based web services, and Message-Driven Beans is strongly desired.
- Three to five years of experience using SoapUI, JUnit, JDeveloper or NetBeans, PMD, and Checkstyle development tools is preferred.
- Previous Medicaid, encounter, or HL7 implementation experience is preferred.
- Experience working with small to medium-sized teams consisting of analysts and developers from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
- Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language processes and documentation methods is preferred.
- Experience with WebLogic application servers is preferred.
