Requirements
  • Expertise in observability and monitoring, including Digital Experience Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Network Performance Monitoring, log management, and distributed tracing.
  • Experience with distributed architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services, hybrid environments, and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Riverbed, Nexthink, New Relic, Dynatrace, Cisco Splunk, AppDynamics, infrastructure and network monitoring solutions, and packet brokers such as Ixia and Gigamon.
  • Strong DevOps, automation, and Site Reliability Engineering knowledge, including XPI, XPA, artificial intelligence fundamentals, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Sensitivity to cybersecurity and operational resilience concerns.
  • Ability to analyze and formalize business needs, frame requirements, and design architectures.
  • Ability to produce technical and functional deliverables and facilitate client and internal workshops.
  • Professional English proficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Design observability architectures adapted to client contexts, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Define strategies for collecting observability data, including metrics, logs, traces, and events.
  • Ensure the overall consistency, security, robustness, and scalability of solutions.
  • Support project teams with observability solution deployment and integration, performance, availability, and resilience audits, and management of complex high-impact incidents.
  • Identify technical risks and propose corrective action plans.
  • Contribute to presales activities through needs analysis and framing, target architecture definition, pricing, and presentations.
  • Participate in structuring observability offerings covering Application Performance Monitoring, Network Performance Monitoring, Digital Experience Monitoring, cloud observability, and DevOps.
  • Structure and maintain architecture best practices, standards, and patterns.
  • Monitor technology developments among vendors, in the market, and across industry trends.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and technical repositories.
Desired Qualifications
  • Riverbed Aternity certification.
  • Nexthink certification.
  • Certification from other Digital Experience Monitoring or Digital Employee Experience Management vendors, such as ControlUp, Lakeside, or TeamViewer.
  • Cloud certifications in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in an IT services company as a technical lead or architect.
  • Very good knowledge of end-user computing environments.

Apprise Music secures grant from Orange Inspire Creative Pitch in Ghana

Ghanaian music company Apprise Music & Media has secured grant support through the Orange Inspire Creative Ultimate Pitch 2026. The final pitch event took place on 11 September 2026 in Accra, bringing together entrepreneurs from Ghana's creative and cultural sectors. The Orange Inspire programme, supported by Fidelity Bank Ghana, ALX and UNESCO Ghana, offers up to GH¢600,000 in funding for creative enterprises across sectors including music, film, fashion and media. Apprise Music presented its business model focused on music distribution, publishing administration and rights management for independent artists and labels. Founder Michael Bamfo said the support would help strengthen operations and serve more creators. The company plans to invest in catalogue administration equipment, metadata improvement, artist onboarding and audiovisual content production to expand its services to African creators.
