Vulnerability Management and Security Specialist
About the job
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as information technology, cybersecurity, or software engineering.
- Have at least three years of cybersecurity experience focused on vulnerability management.
- Have experience with Tenable.io, Tenable.SC, or OpenVAS.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Sentinel for monitoring, event correlation, and alert creation.
- Have experience producing security dashboards and reports.
- Have participated in automating vulnerability prioritization and tracking.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Have knowledge of Azure and hybrid environments.
- Know frameworks and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Have good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
- Have knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation.
- Have general knowledge of application security.
- Be proficient in Python for automating cybersecurity-related tasks.
- Have functional knowledge of English.
- Demonstrate analytical ability, organization, and professional rigor.
- Conduct vulnerability analyses on technological infrastructures.
- Identify, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities according to their risk level.
- Monitor remediation plans and security patches.
- Participate in monitoring the security posture of technological environments.
- Develop and maintain security dashboards and indicators.
- Produce reports for different stakeholders.
- Participate in automation activities related to vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.
- Monitor technological and security developments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
