Nike presents STUDIO FLEECE: the new everyday uniform. by Adriano Batista Nike has introduced Studio Fleece, a unified system of activewear built around the idea of the everyday athlete's uniform. The collection includes crewneck and quarter-zip sweatshirts, full-zip and zip-free hoodies, shorts, and sweatpants, all designed from Nike's perspective of innovation and product obsession to offer performance and comfort through clean proportions and versatility. The opinions of more than 300 women from around the world informed every aspect of the "Total Black" colourway, making each style softer and more durable against the skin. The "Total Black" pieces are crafted with a dye formula designed to resist fading and maintain a deep black for at least 30 washes. "We've thought of every detail to create the ultimate everyday uniform," said Jill Gonzalez, Senior Director of Product Line Management. The Studio Fleece universe is based on two cuts: a standard fit and a looser, oversized cut. Standard-fit silhouettes come in three weights. Lightweight pieces are breathable and suited for layering. Mediumweight styles are super-soft and versatile for everyday wear. Heavyweight garments offer more shape and structure. Key details include cleaner silhouette lines, narrower cuffs, a redesigned hood, and signature Lyon Blue labels, all combining to set Studio Fleece apart from traditional fleece. "Nike's best products are born from an obsession with detail," said Claire Durfee, Lead Apparel Designer. "We set ourselves a challenge with every element, perfecting the proportions, materials, and finishes." "The best of sportswear is embodied in Studio Fleece: essential, high-quality silhouettes with endless possibilities for personal expression," said Mellány Sánchez, Global Styling Director. "The beauty of the collection's design lies in its ability to adapt to women's movements throughout the day." Studio Fleece is joined by Solo Fleece, a midweight men's hoodie with a brushed-back body fabric, a shorter and straighter cut, a pleated hood with matching fabric lining, and a 3D embroidered Swoosh. Both collections are presented in a joint campaign featuring Nike athletes Alysa Liu, Jazzy Davidson, Sha'Carri Richardson, Moses Itauma, Lauren James, and Reece James, alongside artists Karina and Yeat. Studio Fleece is available now at nike.com and select retailers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with a worldwide release starting 1 September and new styles launching in the coming months. actual nike presents STUDIO FLEECE: the new everyday uniform.
Heated recovery slides. Nike and recovery gear maker Hyperice have announced the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a slide that heats and vibrates through magnetic pods clipped to the top of each foot. The pair goes on sale to the public on 29 September for $249 through both companies' websites and at Best Buy and Dick's Sporting Goods in the US. Hyperice says the slides qualify for purchase with FSA and HSA funds as a recovery aid. Key takeaways. * Magnetic Hyperslide Pods deliver three heat levels and three vibration settings, with temperatures from 109°F (42.8°C) to 117°F (47.2°C). * Pods run about an hour per charge, roughly six ten-minute sessions, and recharge over USB-C. * The slides drop the air-compression massage found in the earlier Hyperboot, offering vibration instead. This is the second product from the Nike and Hyperice partnership. The first was the Hyperboot, a high-top that heats and inflates to deliver air-compression massage. The slide keeps the heat and swaps the compression for vibration. How the pods work. The technology lives entirely in the pods, which snap magnetically onto each slide. The companies describe them as helping feet relax, reset and recover from the ground up. Control works two ways. The pods connect to the Hyperice app over Bluetooth for customising heat and vibration, and buttons on the pods themselves toggle settings without a phone. Onboard indicator lights show heat level, vibration level and battery status. Battery life runs to about an hour depending on use. At ten minutes per recovery session, that works out to roughly six sessions before a recharge over the onboard USB-C port. Both companies recommend wearing socks with the slides. That reads as a fashion problem and is almost certainly sound advice for anyone strapping heated hardware to bare skin. The footwear itself. Underneath the electronics is a low-profile Nike Air Zoom sole with a textured, cushioned footbed. Design cues carry over from the Hyperboot, including distinct circles where the velcro straps meet the body of the shoe. Two colours are available: black and a light tan called Orewood. Sizing spans 15 options, from M4/W5 to M18/W19 in the US, M3.5/W5.5 to 17 in the UK, and 36 to 52.5 in the EU. Like the Hyperboot, the slide is built for use after training, though nothing stops anyone wearing them whenever they like. The missing feature is worth noting for anyone upgrading from the boot. Hands-on experience with the Hyperboot over the past year points to compression, not heat, as the component that produced results: less tightness through the legs, less tension in the quads, less knee pain. The Hyperslide has no compression at all. Whether vibration produces the same benefit is an open question, and percussive recovery tools divide opinion even among people who use them regularly. The launch fits a broader push by Nike into powered footwear. The company has been developing robotic lower-leg assistance, air-inflated apparel with real-time temperature control, and footwear built around foot receptors, with several of these technologies staged around the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. Recovery products are the consumer-facing edge of that programme, and they arrive into a market where wearable recovery claims usually outrun the evidence behind them. Reported experience with the earlier boot has been positive among athletes who tested it, with several describing lighter, freer movement after wearing the heated version before training. That framing, treating warm-up preparation as its own category rather than an afterthought, explains why heat survived into the slide even as compression did not. At $249 with FSA and HSA eligibility, the pricing suggests Nike expects buyers to classify these as equipment rather than footwear.
Nike and Hyperice have launched the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a recovery slide featuring built-in heat and vibration technology. The slip-on footwear houses a magnetic pod in its adjustable strap that delivers three levels of heat and vibration in 15-minute cycles, controlled via on-pod settings or the Hyperice app. The slide builds on the success of the companies' Hyperboot, which generated over $10 million in revenue during its first eight months. Professional athletes, including Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk, provided feedback during development. The product combines Nike's Air Zoom cushioning with Hyperice's recovery technology, aiming to help athletes recover between training sessions and competitions. The Air Zoom Hyperslide will be available from 29 September in select markets.

Nike's new Air Zoom Hyperslide brings heat and vibration recovery shoes. Nike is bringing recovery technology to athletes' feet with the new Air Zoom Hyperslide, a heated recovery slide developed with Hyperice that combines Nike's Air Zoom comfort with customizable heat and vibration features. Designed for runners, athletes, and anyone spending long hours on their feet, the new footwear aims to help athletes recover faster after training and competition. "Athletes leave everything on the field, and the approach to recovery needs to meet them at the same level," says Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director of Athlete Innovation, Nike. "With the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide, we wanted to create a solution that kickstarts recovery the moment you power it up - helping athletes feel more relaxed, restored and ready to take their performance to the next level." These slides combine Nike's Air Zoom plush comfort with Hyperice's heat- and vibration-focused Venom technology to relax the feet, reduce tension, and jump start recovery. The shoe is equipped with a Hyperslide pod located on the top adjustable strap. This rechargeable and removable pod allows for manual temperature control with a right-side button and vibration control via the left-hand button. Consumers can also control the recovery shoes via an app that allows them to start and stop sessions and adjust the heat and vibration intensity when wearing the slides. The pod delivers three levels of heat (reaching 117°F / 47°C) and three levels of vibration, with each session lasting 15 minutes. It is recommended that users wear socks with these recovery slides. According to Nike, very aspect of the innovation and design is informed by feedback from both elite and everyday athletes. The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide will be available beginning September 29 in select markets at Nike.com, Hyperice.com, and select retail locations globally.
