About the job
- Ideally have training in the food-processing industry.
- Have similar experience, or successful experience in food-service trades such as pastry-making, baking, or cooking combined with industrial experience.
- Be rigorous and organized and appreciate teamwork.
- Control the different manufacturing stages and monitor installations from the control room and in the field.
- Optimize operating parameters and adjust installations according to the product being manufactured to meet cost, schedule, and product-quality objectives.
- Control the samples collected, interpret the results, and adjust the installations accordingly.
- Control the proper operation of clean-in-place systems.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules within the food-processing production site.
- Participate in process-improvement initiatives.
- Work rotating 3x8 shifts, with the possibility of working some Saturdays and public holidays.
