About the job

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Specialized skills and/or a current license or certification in at least one trade such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, fire protection, or mechanical are required.
  • The technician must be able to work indoors and outdoors, use ladders, and perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • The technician must complete required background and drug screening as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance work orders and basic repairs.
  • Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, and other building maintenance needs.
  • Help prepare and clean vacant apartments.
  • Inspect and maintain buildings, grounds, common areas, and equipment.
  • Assist with property and unit inspections.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as required.
  • Provide professional, respectful service to residents.
  • Follow all company and workplace safety procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous commercial or multi-unit residential maintenance experience is preferred.
