Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- Previous commercial or multi-unit residential maintenance experience is preferred.
- Specialized skills and/or a current license or certification in at least one trade such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, fire protection, or mechanical are required.
- The ability to work indoors and outdoors, use ladders, and perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 55 pounds, is required.
- Successful completion of required background and drug screening is required for employment.
Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders and basic repairs.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical, and other building maintenance needs.
- Help prepare and clean vacant apartments.
- Inspect and maintain buildings, grounds, common areas, and equipment.
- Assist with property and unit inspections.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in on-call coverage as required.
- Provide professional and respectful service to residents.
- Follow all company and workplace safety procedures.
