About the Job

Requirements

  • A Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering is required.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on software QA or test engineering experience is required.
  • Experience across an embedded or robotics software stack is required.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++ and the ability to write logical scripts or code from scratch are required.
  • Solid Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, system debugging, process tools, and network tools, are required.
  • Knowledge of robotics perception, navigation, manipulation, and simulation is required.
  • Knowledge of a robotics simulator engine and the ability to develop automated test scenarios using it are required.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLM-based agents for test generation or QA workflow automation is required.
  • The ability to engage effectively with Chinese robot OEM and partner engineering teams, with strong written and verbal communication in both Chinese and English, is required.
  • Hands-on experience with functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262 in autonomous systems, is required.
  • The candidate must be able to debug complex failures and drive issues to root cause.

Responsibilities

  • Apply AI-assisted tooling, including LLM-based test generation, copilots, and agent frameworks, to accelerate test authoring, failure triage, and coverage analysis.
  • Develop test strategy, detailed test plans, and structured test cases based on product requirements and partner use cases.
  • Validate full-stack behavior across local partner integrations and China-specific deployment environments.
  • Lead bring-up testing for new robot hardware platforms entering production; define and execute factory software test plans covering functional verification, calibration, diagnostics, and manufacturing acceptance criteria.
  • Execute end-to-end testing of GR00T-based robot action policies on China-available robot hardware; validate policy rollout, sim-to-real transfer fidelity, and teleoperation data quality.
  • Support data collection and maintain robot learning infrastructure; build dashboards and automation to track test coverage, fleet health, and data pipeline quality across robot deployments.
  • Identify, record, document, and regress internal and external bugs; provide root cause analysis and statistical quality reports to global and local stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams globally, including in India and the US, and with local Chinese robot OEM and partner teams.
  • Manage the robot fleet in the lab, including hardware and software updates.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Chinese robot platforms, including humanoids, AMRs, and manipulation arms, and familiarity with China-market robot OEM ecosystems.
  • An AI/ML degree, certification, or demonstrable project work in reinforcement learning, sim-to-real transfer, or robot learning.
  • Experience optimizing test workflows using AI tools.
  • Experience writing or evaluating robot foundation model inference pipelines, such as GR00T-based policies.
  • Contributions to open-source robotics projects or ROS community packages.

About the Company

NVIDIA

Designs the chips and software that power AI

NVIDIA designs the chips and software that power artificial intelligence and sells complete data center systems to cloud providers, AI labs, and other businesses, along with GeForce graphics cards for gamers. Its GPUs, chips that perform thousands of calculations at once, became the main hardware for AI after researchers used them to train the AlexNet image-recognition model in 2012. NVIDIA connects many GPUs with its own processors and networking gear into servers and rack-sized computers, and developers program them through its CUDA software. These systems bring in most of its sales, and it also makes chips for cars and robots. Jensen Huang co-founded NVIDIA in 1993, and it is based in Santa Clara, California.
