Requirements
  • A certificate, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Two to four years of experience in injury prevention or the candidate's specialty field, preferably in an industrial setting, with a strong background in hands-on therapy and body mechanics coaching.
  • Ability to identify and address issues effectively and provide solutions both in person and remotely.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and detailed reporting.
  • Active professional liability insurance coverage upon hire.
  • Ability to meet drug screening standards and pass a background check.
  • Credentials such as Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Licensed Massage Therapist.
  • Ability to use DORN reporting systems and in-field technology when required.
Responsibilities
  • Guide employees on proper body mechanics and self-care techniques to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Collaborate with site management and safety teams to assess risks and implement injury prevention strategies.
  • Provide deep tissue therapy to enhance employee performance and well-being.
  • Maintain detailed records of work and progress using DORN systems and processes.
  • Gather employee feedback on the impact of delivered services.
  • Communicate with client site teams and DORN management to support injury prevention initiatives weekly and monthly.

  • Additional continuing education.
  • Experience in injury prevention or the candidate's specialty field in an industrial setting.
  • Interest in or experience with ergonomics.
