Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A registered or certificated Medical Assistant credential, or at least five years of Medical Assistant experience, is required.
  • A current clinical license, as required by state or national authority, in good standing is required.
  • A current classroom-led American Heart Association Basic Life Support or CPR card is required.
  • Proficient experience with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records is required.
  • Current experience with electrocardiograms, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary procedures, and injections is required.
  • Current health records with appropriate Hepatitis B and PPD immunizations are required.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations upon business need is required.
  • Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and manipulate equipment and patients, and to sit or stand for long periods, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the health center and clinical support staff.
  • Ensure organization policies and standards are upheld, including regulatory, procedural, and licensing requirements, and ensure adherence to patient privacy regulations and confidentiality protocols.
  • Manage supply and pharmacy inventory and replacement ordering, and monitor key performance indicators and operational workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency or patient and employee engagement and present recommendations to area leadership.
  • Dedicate a significant amount of time to patient facilitation and hands-on care.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, clinicians, and/or the Total Health Solutions team.
  • Manage staffing schedules and timecard monitoring, and ensure direct reports adhere to time and attendance policies.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and performance-manage employees, and support succession planning.
  • Function as the health center operations subject matter expert, accountable for staff training and demonstrating competencies.
  • Resolve issues, coordinate regular staff meetings, and contribute input to area leadership regarding health center staffing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience with healthcare leadership responsibilities is strongly preferred, or a minimum of two years of experience with CareATC health center operations.
