Your place in our story
The Development Analyst supports all aspects of high-rise and low-rise residential and mixed-use development projects, including acquisitions, visioning, planning approvals, detailed design and construction of low-rise subdivisions, as well as overall budgeting, scheduling, and financial reporting.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
- Prepare advanced pro forma models and provide quantitative analytical support to aid management in evaluating various development decisions.
- Create and update financial pro forma models and other tools to assess options related to home pricing, product mix, concept plans, and more—informing project visioning, development applications, sales launches, construction starts, and other key recommendations.
- Interact with various internal departments and divisions to ensure financial and non-financial inputs and assumptions are current and accurate.
- Prepare financial and non-financial reports and presentations for the team and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare required schedules and monthly draws for construction financing.
- Monitor financial performance and project timelines, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Set up and monitor purchase orders and process invoices for the development team.
- Collaborate with the Development team and assist with general administrative tasks as required.
- Provide support in establishing contracts for a range of activities throughout the development process.
- Perform other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the role, as requested by management.
What you bring to the team

- Post-secondary education (Bachelor's Degree or Master's) with a concentration in accounting, real estate, and/or finance
- 1-5 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SQL and InformXL is an asset
- Knowledge of Newstar is an asset
- Knowledge of the real estate/development industry is considered an asset
Hiring pay range: $60,000-$75,000 a year
